It's a New Year, why not try something different?

Clients, friends and family have asked me over and over again, when are you going to start a blog on your website?! To be honest, I really didn’t know where to start!
So, how about I just start with what makes me happy.  I have been running NV Interior Design Artisans for 20 years; and love what I do!  I love watching the expression on my client’s faces when I show them how to stage their room differently.  It’s surprising how adding a little color by using draperies or an accent wall can completely transform a room.  I enjoy getting to know my clients; what colors they like, their hobbies, their style choices and incorporate that into my design consultations.  A room design should be about the client, not about me.

I also love taking an under utilized room and transform it into a functional space.  For example, often times the basement ends up being the place where we store our holiday decorations, old furniture, clothes, and stuff we don’t use anymore. There’s so much you can do with a basement, but it can be overwhelming trying to decide how to make the best use of the space. That’s where I come in!
What I do is not work. What I do is create beautiful spaces that bring smiles to my clients’ faces.  I absolutely love what I do!
